Mayo ICRR uses a Honda CR-V to respond to calls. It is a 4×4 vehicle with a 2.2L diesel engine. It is marked up and is fitted with blue lights and a siren.
It comes fitted with a Tetra digital radio, linking it with the National Ambulance Service.
It carries a range of equipment including:
- Lifepak 12 defibrillator / monitor
- Portable suction
- Vacuum splints
- Burns kit
- Medical bag
- Personal protective equipment
